I help charities, museums and other nonprofits with their web content and social media

I can help you maximise your potential whether you are relying on volunteers, have a small team or a whole communications department.

How I can help

I offer the following services to help you and your team improve your digital communication skills and confidence:

  • bespoke training on writing for the web, digital fundraising, social media, digital communications (courses include a comms healthcheck and peer analysis)
  • mentoring for people new to digital communications
  • editing and writing content – single pages or whole websites
  • developing house style guidelines and frameworks
  • digital healthchecksI audit and benchmark digital communications against peers / competitors (specialising in analysing fundraising content)
  • developing content or digital strategies including surveys and research.

I also work with organisations to improve the usability and accessibility of their web content.

  • NCVO – managed social media and email marketing promotion to inspire stakeholders to respond to plans for new 5 year strategy.
  • Media Trust – delivered bespoke training courses for a number of charities.
  • RNIB – detailed report analysing effectiveness of fundraising content.
  • The Point of Care Foundation – edited content for website and produced microsite for Schwartz Rounds.
  • Epilepsy Society – edited 300 pages of content for their new website.
  • Blackfriars Settlement – provided writing for the web and social media training for non-web staff, edited content provided by 10 different authors for site relaunch.
  • Aspire Knowledge – analysed survey data and wrote report about use of social media by charities.
